BBC Three bring you this exciting opportunity for one of your very capable young mechanics to take part in the BBC ‘Young Talent of the Year’  competition.
The BBC is looking for the most talented 16-25 year old mechanics to take part in the competition - someone who is dedicated, hard working and a true ‘craftsman’ of the trade.

If so, click the link below for a copy of the application form and return it to; Young Talent Casting Team, Room 3136, BBC Television Centre, London, W12 7RJ. The deadline for applications is the 15th March so you will need to complete it and send it straight away to ensure your local talent is recognised on a national level. If they are one of the lucky ones to go through to the next round they will be required for roughly 4 days in total.
From now until the middle of April, the BBC will be inviting applicants to attend a series of interviews and practical challenges around the UK where they will select 6 to go through to the studio final. Each trade will have its own 60 minute show. The studio final will be filmed over one day and involve five challenges. After each round, one finalist will be eliminated by their expert judges (from each trade) until we have our overall winner.
The applicants will be tested by the industry’s leading experts to ensure they have the skills and personality needed to earn the title. Ultimately, the goal is to praise the young, hard working individuals that don’t get the recognition they deserve. With the added bonus of you knowing your garage has employed the most talented young mechanic in the country.
